SIMON ASSAF (he/him) is a Lebanese revolutionary socialist and activist now based in London. He is a a commissioning editor at The Public Source in Lebanon, and has reported extensivy on Lebanon, Syria and the wider Middle East. He was one of the founders of Tajamou‘ Yasari and al-Muntada al-Ishtiraqi.
CANAN (JANAN) SAHIN (she/her) is a member of the International Socialists in Canada. She is currently a PhD student in the department of Political Studies at Queen’s University, working on racism against Syrian refugees in Turkey. Prior to her move to Canada, she was based in Turkey as an active member of DSİP (Revolutionary Socialist Workers’ Party).
